Double Cotton Muslin has a fine and delicate weave; it’s light and loosely woven. Muslin fabric is a popular choice as a comfortable fabric with an indisputable reputation.
The lightweight and breathable nature of muslin makes it an excellent choice for garments that need to be comfortable and provide good airflow. Muslin’s softness against the skin adds to its comfort, making it a preferred fabric for baby clothing, sleepwear, and summer apparel.
 
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the loose weave and the sheer nature of the fabric, the colours will come out lighter / softer than it appears on your screen.  Therefore, it’s not advisable to make your colours too light or too fine.  We advise against using geometric shapes in your designs, as the loose weave will cause the lines to warp due to the loose nature of the fabric.

Care Instructions:
Machine Washable on a gentle cycle in cold water. Do not wring. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Iron on low on the back. Do not iron on print
 
PIGMENT PRINTED NATURAL FABRICS WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
Water temperature: Use cold or lukewarm water (below 30°C–40°C) to protect the pigment binder and prevent fading.
Detergent choice: Use a mild, pH-neutral liquid detergent; avoid heavy powders, bleach, enzymes, or strong stain removers.
Agitation method: Turn the product inside out first. Choose a delicate hand wash or a short, gentle machine cycle with low spin speeds.
First wash rule: Always wash dark or high-contrast prints separately during the first 2 to 3 washes to catch any initial surface color release.
Drying and Ironing: No wringing: Gently squeeze out extra water or press the fabric in a clean towel; never twist or wring the material.
Drying: Drip dry or line dry in a shaded area away from direct sunlight, which can fade both the print and natural fibers. Avoid tumble drying.
Ironing: Iron on the reverse (unprinted) side using the appropriate temperature setting for your natural fabric base.
 
All-natural fabrics turn off-white after we heat-set the printing to make them machine-washable.  Therefore, any white background/areas will be off-white even if the base fabric appears white in photos.

Please note: Cotton and Natural fabrics print lighter than Polyester. For a more vibrant print, please consider printing on our Polyester or Nylon fabrics.
