FABRIC CARE & WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
We carefully select and pre-treat our fabrics to ensure the best possible colour fastness and print quality.
To keep your fabrics looking beautiful and vibrant for years to come, we recommend following the simple care guidelines below.
Proper care will help preserve the colours, texture and quality of your printed fabric.
🧺
We recommend washing all printed fabrics before use.
Colourfast pigment printing, heat pressing, and setting may leave fabrics feeling flat or slightly stiff. We recommend washing the fabrics to restore the thick fluffiness shown in the showroom sample.
Washing helps to soften the fibres and restore their natural texture and drape.
Coral Fleece and Sheep's Fleece-type fabrics and Towelling fabrics return to their thicker fluffiness after washing.
To keep your printed fabrics looking beautiful for years to come, please follow these simple care instructions:
-
Wash: Use cold or lukewarm water (max. 30°C) on a gentle cycle or hand wash.
-
Detergent: Use a mild liquid detergent. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals.
-
First Wash: Wash dark or vibrant prints separately for the first 2–3 washes.
-
Handling: Turn fabrics inside out before washing. Avoid excessive agitation, twisting or wringing.
-
Drying: Line dry in the shade. Avoid tumble drying and direct sunlight.
-
Ironing: Iron on the reverse (unprinted) side at the appropriate fabric temperature.
🌿 Important:
Natural fabrics such as cotton and linen may shrink slightly during washing. We recommend washing before cutting or sewing to allow for initial shrinkage.
Natural Cottons and Linens also print naturally softer than Polyesters.
Our fabric is pre-treated to ensure maximum colourfastness.
🩷 A little extra care goes a long way in preserving the colour,
softness & beauty of your printed fabrics! 🩷
